Finally, IPL2009 is over and Deccan Chargers Hyderabad is the winner of IPL 2009. The interesting thing was that the two bottom team of the 1st IPL 2008 met in the final of IPL 2009. In 2008 season, both Deccan Chargers Hyderabd and Royal Challenge Bangalore didn't do well but this year they showed their best.

Yesterday, Deccan Chargers Hyderabd batted first and they scored 145 in 20 overs and Bangalore lost by 6 wickets. Deccan Chargers Hyderabad captain lifted the trophy of IPL 2009. Last year, Rajasthan Royal captain Shane Warne had won. One thing was common in the both the winner team. The common thing was that the captain of both Rajashthan Royal Challenge and Deccan Chargers Hyderabad captain were from Australia.
At the end of the Match, IPL Chairman Mr. Lalit Modi announced that it was a successful tournament in all the respect and he thanked South Africa for that. A farewell program has been done before the start of the finale. Lalit Modi also hinted that now there could be two IPL in a year. One will be played in India and another will be in the overseas as a shorter version.
Kolkata Knight Riders bowler Dinda told to reporter after reaching Calcutta (Dum Dum) Airport that their could have been done well under the captaincy of Saurav Ganguly as he knew the local players well and he could have used them in right time. While, Pakistan pace man Rawalplindi Express Shoaib Akhtar has been dropped from the Pakistan T20 side after failing in the fitness test.
