Pakistan former captain and one of the greatest fast bowler in the history of Cricket 
Wasim Akram told that enigmatic speedster Shoaib Akhtar's international career is virtually over now.

Wasim AKram told media reporters that Shoiab Akhtar was only selected in the Pakistan nation team when something miracle happens. He was also given chance to go Abu Dhabi and he also played two out of the 5 ODI Game against Australia but unfortunately he again got injured. Shoaib Akhtar selection in the Pakistan Cricket team is now more difficult after the great performance of young players like Mohammad Aamer and others. Wasim believes that Pakistan bowling section is doing well now and Pakistani selectors also have to look for the future aspect. Cricket One Day Internation World Cup will be played in 2011 and from now they have to set up their team. Pakistan Cricket team have to depend on the their youngsters for the upcoming Champions Trophy and for the next 20-20 Cricket World Cup.

Wasim Akram advised Mohammed Asif to learn from his mistakes so he can again make his position in the cricket team. Mohammed Asif is still very young and talented but ha has to prove himself in the state level cricket.
Asking about the future of Test cricket then he Mr. Wasim AKram replied that Twenty20 or ODI (50 overs) is really good for fun but real cricket is Test cricket and Test cricket is the obe and only measure of the quality of a real cricketer. He use to tell the kids that they should always consider the Test cricket as their ultimate goal.
Praising the Indian bastam Sachin Tendulkar, he told that people will always remember Sachin Ramesh Tendulkar for making the highest century-maker in the history of Test cricket but I don't foresee the same kind of respect for the hose cricketers who hits most centuries in 20-20 cricket format. He admitted the ICC has to do something to make sure that Test cricket remained in robust health. He thinks there is nothing wrong if the Test cricket is played Day on the day night basis but he rejected the idea of playing 4 day Test Cricket.
