Cricket Ground (Lords)Cricket is an outdoor game. Cricket is played by bat and ball and Cricket is originated in southern part of England. Cricket is first played in the year 1598, and Cricket is now played in more than hundred countries. Cricket is also one of the ancient and popular game all over the world. Though, Cricket is not as popular as Soccer but wherever it is played it is played with true and living spirit. Now, there are many forms of playing cricket but still Test cricket is the highest level. After Test cricket, One Day International cricket (50 overs) follows then a new format has come 20-20 (overs) which is very popular because it's very fast and it completes within 5 hours.
Australia has won most number of World cup (four times) till now (1987, 1999, 2003 and 2007) and then West Indies twice (1975 and 1975 consecutively), India once (1983) under the captaincy of Kapil Dev, Pakistan one (1991) under the captaincy of Imran Khan, Sri Lanka once (1996) under the captaincy of Arjuna Ranatunga).
