Today, I am going to give details about one more IPL team i.e. Mohali Team. Mohali Team representing the Punjab state in the Indian Premiere League 2009. Mohali Team in the IPL is known as Kings XI Punjab. Kinds XI Punjab is one of the stronger team in IPL 2009 and they can change the situation of the game in no time. The captain of Kings XI Punjab (Mohali) is current India vice-captain Yuvraj Singh and he is also the Icon Player of Kings XI Punjab team. The Mohali team is coached by former Australian all rounder Tom Moody.

The Kings XI Punjab is bagged by Preity Zinta with her boyfriend Ness Wadia (owner of Bombay Dyeing Industry) and also Karan Paul (Director of Apeejay Surendera Group) and Mohit Burman of Darbur Company are also the contributers for purchasing the Kings XI Punjab team. All of them had to pay around $76 million to clinch their team.

Kings XI performance in 2008:
Kings XI Punjab lost their first two consecutive matches but then Yuvraj team recovered well and reached to the semi finals of the first IPL season in 2008 but unfortunately they lost with Chennai Super Kings Team in the semi final.
