Eden Garden host all IPL matches

Now it is decided on 20th February 2009 by CAB (Cricket Association of Bengal) president and former BCCI & ICC (International Cricket Council) Mr. Jagmohan Dalmiya announced that Eden Garden will be hosting all seven matches of Kolkata Knight Riders team and now Kolkata team will be playing all their IPL2009 matches Indian Premier League 2009 matches at Eden Garden.. Eden Garden comes in the world's 10 most famous stadium in the world and the highest capacity ground in Asia. In world ranking, Eden Garden Kolkata comes in 8th position.

Getting this news, all the Kolkata players and Kolkata Knight Riders supporters expressed his happiness and joy over this decision. Kolkata team supporters wanted that all the seven matches should be played here after all Eden Garden is their home ground and they will get full support from the local people.

Earlier, the 2-3 match was about to shift in other place in Gujarat, Cuttack or may be in Dhaka, Bangladesh. It was being said that BCCI had some due to be paid to CAB (Cricket Association of Bengal) that's why Mr. Jagmohan Dalmiya was not allowing to play all the matches here.

    Hi. Love the Eden stadium photos.... I will add the cricket link for you. I was so shocked to see Shane Warne and Graheme Smith on the team. I do like the new jerseys... much nicer.
